There is no previous experience required! H2H will train in basic horsemanship and how best to effectively support our riders.

Meet Christian!
A volunteer for over 9 years at our barn! He lives in Marengo and plays a significant role in both his family and Hooves To Heal community. He is responsible for caring for the horses, which includes maintaining and cleaning stalls, helping with feeding, hauling waste and hay bales. His long-term commitment to horse care and leading horses for lessons reflects a deep dedication to animals and a solid work ethic. His favorite horse to ride is Hudson, and their old horse Andy. Christian is an amazing team player, collaborating with others and pitching in to help wherever he is needed. His steady involvement in fund- raising indicates a commitment to supporting our cause which matters a lot to him.
His efforts make a wonderful positive impact and connection with our riders. Congratulate him the next time you see him—-he recently became a brand new uncle! Thank you Christian for all that you do!
